A walk to remember?
I think, reading a book is like going for a walk with a person through all the seasons their mind can clearly imagine, its like being a listener who isn't waiting for their chance to speak but is content in just being as they are, listening. And the person you're on a walk with, is obviously the author, the person who spent a long long time perfecting a story before they present it to you, like a blind date with a dead end really because you don't pick up a lot of books again once you finish reading them. But then you find the books you pick up from time to time, like going on a long walk with someone you have known all your life just because your present reality feels all blurry and you need someone who makes you feel at comfort with your own self in a way people in your reality can't. That's when you pick up an old book off your shelf and reread it, because you know deep down, there are going to be words you need to read there somewhere. Ofcourse the author didn't know you'll need to read them when they wrote it, they wrote it because they needed to write it.
You won't always be inspired, you won't always find the magic immediately, but you'll find words you can cling onto until you find your miracle. The best part of that is,
You'll come to realize, your miracle had been YOU all along.
