Trashed Flowers
Live example of 'Someone's trash may be someone else's treasure' I came across today.
I was on a walk and I saw these beautiful bouquets trashed on the sidewalk like this and it broke my heart because a person like me would have done anything to receive flowers because I love flowers to the extent that giving flowers is a love language. The number of flowers, the type, the color, the arrangement... I express through all the possible symbolisms I can when I give them to someone I care about. But I would love receiving them just as much, maybe even more. And here they are, lying like the person who kept them there couldn't care less.
I hope people would stop doing what happened with these flowers to other people. Because something that may be worthless to you, might be of immense importance to someone else, so if you know it's not for you, don't ruin it for them either. Just keep to yourself and walk away. And don't give yourself stupid reasons like, but how would I know if I don't give it a chance/try. You'll know. Your heart will know. Deep down, you know. You don't need to touch someone to understand them or make them feel better. You don't need to make someone fall in love with you to realize you never wanted their love.
You will know it before it happens. And they deserve to know too.
And these flowers, deserved to find someone like me before it was too late to revive them. So if you're the flowers in this scenario, I hope you find the one who revives you soon.
